TURMERIC
- Turmeric is a flowering plant, the roots of which are used in cooking. The rhizomes are used fresh or boiled in water and dried, after which they are ground into a deep orange-yellow powder commonly used as a colouring and flavouring agent.
- Turmeric is the most effective nutritional supplement in existence. Many studies show that it has lots of benefits for our body and brain. It contains compounds with medicinal properties called curcuminoids, the most important of which is curcumin, the main active ingredient in turmeric.
